Presenting Kazakh arts and crafts to British businesses

The British Kazakh Society was founded in 2002 and aims to promote relations at all levels between the UK and Kazakhstan. Its honorary patrons are HRH The Duke of York and His Excellency Nursultan Nazarbayev the President of Kazakhstan. The Society includes a number of important leading British companies.

 The Society held its annual reception at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London on 23 January. KazakhstanForYou.com was pleased to present products from Kazakhstan at the reception, including fashion, art, jewellery and crafts. Among special items that were presented were two pictures by Saule Suleimenova, a famous Kazakh artist whose art has been exhibited internationally, jewellery by Serzhan Bashirov and a dress by fashion designer Zhanaka, also both well-known outside of Kazakhstan.
